| Order of Service In Honor of Kenneth S. Crowder Worship, Prayer, and Obituary Kenneth (Steve) Crowder, 62, died Saturday, June 23,2007 at the Hospice of Saint John in Lakewood, Colorado. He had been treated at the VA Medical Center in Denver. He was born February 9, 1945, in Burlington, IA to Kenneth E. and Vera R. Crowder. He is survived by his sister, Sally A. Coeur of Carthage, IL, and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He attended grade school and Jr. High in Burlington, IA and graduated from Chaddock H.S. in Quincy, IL. He served in the U.S. Navy and completed 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He worked at Chaddock School for several years, and at the Jerry Rabiner Ranch in Ft. Dodge, IA. In 2000, he moved to Denver, Co. and was active in Promise Keepers as a volunteer, serving in various departments both at conferences and in the National Offices in Denver. Cremation rites were accorded. Grave side services held at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage IL, July 6, 2007. The memorial service was held in Denver at the Redeemer Community Church for Ken's friends from Church, Promise Keepers, Metro Food Bank, and Acts II Ministries. |
